June Favourites!

Tuesday, July 01, 2014

June is officially over! Well, hello July. June was a good month - let's see what July holds! Here are some of my favourites - some new found and rediscovered loves:

Zoeva #127 Luxe Sheer Cheek
I've been using this brush almost every day this month! Super soft and fluffy bristles that results in fool proof blush application everyday. Size fits great for my cheek and the angled cut makes it great for sweeping colour onto them cheekbones!

MAC Peachykeen Sheertone Shimmer Blush
I am a fan of peaches and corals and this blush is a right smack in between. This shade goes with almost any eye look and looks great on my NC20-25 skin tone. Long lasting and blends easily. Has some shimmer to it which imparts a some glow and radiance onto my face! Definitely a go-to blusher for me this month.

Too Faced A Few Of My Favourite Things Palette
I can't count how many times I have reached for this palette this month and this is saying something. I have tons (no kidding) of palettes and yet, this Too Faced palette has been such a go-to. Super pigmented and soft shadows which I feel are comparable to Lorac Pro's highly raved formulation. Colour variety is great too and I can come up with tons of looks using just this. Shades that get most lovin' are : Blue Satin Sashes and Coquet.

Essence Lipstick in Wear Berries
This lipstick just adds life to my face. The colour is a gorgeous neutral purplish pink that can vary depending on how heavy is your application. It can make your lips look slightly flushed with a sheer layer and Nicki Minaj status with full on application. No need for lip balm before this as this lipstick is super moisturising! Lasting power is decent as well, about 4 hours. Full review on this lipstick here!

Laura Mercier Brow Definer in Warm Brown
I've been going for slightly more natural looks this past month and been reaching for this brow definer way more! Super blendable and easy to master! Just dip an angled brush in there and you're good to go. Gives the brows some colour and fills it in nicely without it looking too harsh or drawn on. Lasts really long as well in this hot weather! High recommend this for those of you wanting natural brows!

ELF Makeup Mist & Set
These days have been sweltering and I don't want my makeup to melt off even more than usual (especially after all that effort in making myself look fabulous!). This ELF Mist & Set works great for setting the makeup and removing the powdery look. I do find my makeup still looks fresh in the afternoon so this stuff works pretty well! And it costs only USD$3.

Hope June was fabulous for you as well! Let me know if you have tried any of these products and also what your favourite products are! Thank you for reading :)

Have a great makeup month ahead! XO.
