Colourpop Dream St Palette and In-Nude-Endo Highlight Palette review and swatches

Pretty recently, I was watching a video from Kathleen Lights where she mentioned her favourites from Colourpop Cosmetics. I love her, and ever since her collaboration, the Dream Street collection, was released, I was itching to purchase some goodies from the site. No better time to do so than with a 20% discount code for her favourites.

Not much damage had been done, I say. I only got the Dream St Eyeshadow Palette, Dream Team Lip Bundle that includes the Ultra Satin Lips in Dreamy & Rêver and Ultra Glossy Lip in Moon Child, In-Nude-Endo Highlighter Palette, Super Shock Shadow in Frog, No Filter Concealer in Light 20 and Super Nova Shadow in Walk of Fame.

Colourpop Dream St Eyeshadow Palette Review and swatchesI have been using the Dream St Eyeshadow Palette non stop ever since I received it in the mail. I really love the shade Magical to pop into the crease. It's a gorgeous warm orangey peach that makes my eyes look more awake and my brown eyes seemed to pop a lil more. Colourpop shadows have been killing it for me lately, and I really enjoy the shadow formulations. Creamy, pigmented and with great blendability. The shimmers in this palette are absolutely stunning! However, I did notice that these shadows did crease on me one day when I just primed my lids with a concealer. It may work better with a eyeshadow primer, and I'll do so when I use this next (aka tomorrow!).

Colourpop Dream Team Lip Bundle of Rever, Dreamy and Moon Child Review and swatches

The Dream Team Lip Bundle is a lovely mix of bold and neutrals. I love the Ultra Satin Lips. They do not dry my lips out and even though they do transfer, the colour still lasts on my lips for at least a few hours. The shade Dreamy is my favourite. It is a warm coral that adds instant life and lift to my face after application. As I am pretty olive and my skin tone definitely leans to the warmer end of the spectrum, I generally find that I look better in warmer neutral shades and this hits the spot. I know, this may not seem like a neutral for some of you, but I'd wear this any day. I have not worn Rêver yet, but I can't wait. This shade is poppin' and I foresee it to be a great shade for any event or dinner party. Lastly, we have Moon Child which is an Ultra Glossy Lip. I have not tried this formulation before, but this has more pigmentation that I expected. It isn't tacky on the lips (a huge plus for me) and I usually just wear it on its own for a quick addition of colour to the lips.

Colourpop In-Nude-Endo Highlighter Palette review and swatches

The other item I was super excited about was the new In-Nude-Endo Highlighter Palette. I love their older Gimme More highlighter palette and I had super high hopes for this! And I was not let down. The highlights feel so soft to the touch and I do not see any with glitter particles which I am down for. I've been going for the glorious sheen instead of a disco ball effect lately (hey, if you do, you do you!). This palette reminds me of the Makeup Revolution Ultra HD Pro Glow Palette which I absolutely adore (I mentioned that palette in my 2017 favourites and here for swatches). I do not find that these emphasise texture and even after a long and sweaty day, I still see my high points glowing. I really love this and I can't seem to put it down. For the price, I do think that it's truly a steal.

Next, I am really excited to try the Super Nova Shadows! I rarely play around with liquid eyeshadows but these looked too good to resist. I got mine in the shade Walk of Fame which is a light warm toned copper. I have not played around with this on the eyes just yet, but I did realise that it set pretty quickly when I swatched it on my hand. So this probably requires you to work quick in blending it out on the lids!

Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Frog and Super Nova Shadow in Walk of Fame Swatches

Second last item is the Super Shock Shadow in Frog. This is a warm peach shade with blue and purple iridescent glitters. So stunning! I applied this all over the lids with a pop of Magical (mentioned above) in the crease and I love it. When I first saw this, it reminded me quite a bit of Sunbeam (another super shock shadow shade from the My Little Pony Collection). The iridescent glitters look pretty similar but the base shade for Sunbeam is purple whereas Frog is light peach which makes it more wearable in my opinion. I showed a mini comparison on my Instagram stories if you're interested. It's under the Unboxing story highlight.

I also have been enjoying my No Filter Concealer in Light 20 so I had to get a backup just in case! I do find that the concealer does become a tad darker once it sets so do take note of that when you are making your purchase.
