Let’s just start off by declaring my love for these lovely liquid lipsticks. I had tried out their previous collection (review and swatches here) and was mind blown by their staying power. When I received this Unnudes collection recently, I already knew that I was going to be pleased.
There are a total of 10 shades, including some unique warm toned brick reds, cool toned purples and a grey. The arrow applicator and packaging are the same as the previous collection.
The 10 shades are:
My favourite of the bunch has to be Seductress as it is truly the perfect nude for me. I wore it the other day and it lasted me for a good 11 hours (and I drank a lot of coffee and bubble tea that day). The shade Visionary was too stunning to not give it a try and here’s how it looks on the lips. Pretty wearable for a purple!
Personally, I am loving this new collection much more than the previous one due to the tones and shades. These are more wearable for me and I like that these aren’t too vivid and bright, making it more suitable for me on a daily basis. However, I probably would still go with Lover from the previous release as my most favourite shade out of all.
Once again, these did not disappoint and unlike the previous release, I am pleased to say that I found the deeper shades in the Unnudes range to be much less patchy when applied. I am glad that the range has been expanded as these truly do work well for days when you want a long lasting lip without the discomfort. There is also the Superstay Eraser (it is a twist up, resembling a lip balm) which makes removal of these liquid lips much easier. I do find it to be a great help, but a regular oil based makeup removal would do the trick too.
These Superstay Matte Inks Unnudes have been released already and they retail for S$17.90! The Superstay eraser retails for S$14.90.
Are you planning to pick any of these up?
